When is the Open Beta playtest?
The Open Beta runs from Monday, June 9, 2025 at 10 AM PT / 6 PM GMT until Monday, June 16, 2025 at 5 PM PT / June 17, 2025 12 AM GMT. The servers will be available during the entire playtest.
How do I participate in the Open Beta?
The Open Beta is accessible by anyone with Steam, Xbox, or PS5 accounts. Search for “Wildgate” on the platform of your choice and you’ll see the Open Beta is available to download and launch - no keys required.
Do I need a subscription to Xbox Live (Gold or Silver) or PlayStation Plus to play in the Open Beta?
No! You do not need to have a subscription to these services in order to access and play the game on PS5 and Xbox X/S. Once the game launches, a subscription to Xbox Live or PlayStation Plus will be required in order to play the game.
How do I submit feedback?
Player sentiment is important to us and we love hearing from our community!
All feedback can be shared in the Wildgate Discord server. We have a dedicated section where you can share your thoughts. We ask that you please keep your feedback focused and specific, limiting it to one topic per thread. We encourage everyone to search first for similar topics and always feel free to join the discussions!
Do I get anything for participating in the Open Beta?
Yes! We will be offering a login reward throughout the entire Open Beta period. Log in at least once throughout the week to receive an in-game Venture pixel spray that will be granted once the game launches.
You will not see any notifications in the game during Open Beta around the spray, but once the game is launched, if you purchase the game and log in using the same Steam, Xbox, or PS5 account you used to play in the Open Beta, you will see a notification in the game that tells you that you’ve been granted the reward.
Is Cross-Play available for the Open Beta?
Yes, but a linked Dreamhaven Account is required in order to do so. Players can download and install the game on multiple devices, but the accounts from those devices need to be linked to the Dreamhaven Account in order to carry progression over across platforms.
To link your Wildgate account to a Dreamhaven account, you can do the following:
- Log into Wildgate on any device
- Open the social panel
- Go to the Accounts Settings tab
- Click “Link Account”
- A page will open that includes a QR code, as well as a URL.
- Scan the code or click the link.
- A page will open that asks you to Log in, or Sign Up for a Dreamhaven account.
- From here, follow the linking process or the account creation process.
- Make sure you link either your Steam, Xbox, or PlayStation accounts prior to making progress on your multiple devices.
