Community Preview on Xbox Insider

This playtest is offered to all Xbox Insider members. Sign up for the program for a chance to participate directly on your console - no additional steps required!

How do I sign up as an Xbox Insider?

Getting started as an Xbox Insider is as easy as downloading the Xbox Insider Hub app on your Xbox device.

To get started on an Xbox console:

1. 1. 1. Go to Store on Home or select Store in the guide.
      2. Select Search.
      3. Enter insider in the box, then select Xbox Insider bundle.
      4. Select Get or Install. This will install both the Xbox Insider Hub and the Report a problem app.

Anyone with an Xbox Series X/S can join the program.

How do I register for the Wildgate Community Preview as an Xbox Insider?

Registration for the playtest will begin on May 5 at 10:00 AM PDT and access will stay open until all seats have been filled, or until the playtest ends on May 12 at 5:00 PM PDT. Once your registration is complete, you’ve secured your spot for the playtest! 

If you’ve pre-registered, you will receive a notification on your console when the playtest is live.

To get started with registration on an Xbox console:

1. 1. 1. Launch the Xbox Insider Hub on your console.
      2. Go to Previews.
      3. Select the Wildgate Community Preview.
      4. Read the eligibility requirements on the Info tab of the Insider content details page.
      5. Select Join.

You’re all set and ready to play! Access opens on May 9 at 9:00 AM PDT.

How do I report bugs I’ve encountered while playing on my Xbox?

To report problems through your Xbox console, download the free Xbox Report a Problem app. To do so:

1. 1. 1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide, and then select Store.
      2. Select Search, and then enter Xbox Report a Problem in the search box.
      3. Choose the app from the search results, and then select Download.

Follow the instructions in the section “Report a new problem” to submit your problem report.
