Welcome to the Reach, Prospectors! To keep Wildgate a fun and safe place for everyone, we've put together a few ground rules. By playing Wildgate, you agree to follow these guidelines. Let's make this adventure awesome for all players!
Note - our moderation system, GGWP, actively monitors both text and voice chat to help track and identify inappropriate behavior.
Respect and Fair Play
- Be Kind: Treat everyone with respect. Harassment, bullying, and discrimination of any kind are not welcome.
- Play Fair: Cheating, exploiting bugs, or using third-party programs to gain an unfair advantage ruins the fun for everyone. Keep it honest and fair.
- Be a Team Player: Play in good faith and support your team. Deliberately sabotaging your crew or helping the enemy team goes against the spirit of the game.
- Best Effort: When you hit "Play" you agree to do your best to help your crew survive the Reach and find the Artifact. Don't give up or sabotage your crew's efforts.
Communication
- Stay Positive: Use the in-game chat and communication tools to build each other up, not tear each other down. No offensive language, spamming, or disruptive behavior.
- Speak Up: If you see something inappropriate, report it. Your feedback helps us improve the game.
Content Creation and Sharing
- Keep It Clean: Make sure any content you create or share (like usernames, avatars, or designs) is appropriate and doesn't offend others.
- Respect Rights: Don't share or distribute content that belongs to someone else without their permission. Let's respect each other's creativity.
Account Security
- Protect Your Info: Keep your personal information private and respect others' privacy too. Don't share personal details like addresses or phone numbers.
- Stay Safe: Use a strong, unique password for your game account and don't share it with anyone. Report any suspicious activity right away.
Enforcement
- Consequences: If you break the rules, we may issue warnings, game mutes, temporary suspensions, or even permanent bans.
- Appeals: Think you've been unfairly penalized? You can appeal through our official support channels.
Community Involvement
- Be Inclusive: Welcome new players and support each other. We're building a community where everyone feels they belong.
- Share Your Thoughts: Got ideas on how to make Wildgate better? Join the community discussions and share your suggestions.
